Working or Living with Older People?

If you would you like training to understand the specific mental health needs of older people, then, this new, comprehensive MHFA course is for you.  Using a practical, expert consensus-based action plan, participants learn how to assist an older person who may be experiencing a mental health problem or a mental health crisis.

COURSE CONTENT
Depression and anxiety
Confusion and dementia
Psychosis
Suicidal thoughts and behaviours
Panic attacks
Delirium
Unsafe and challenging behaviours due to confusion.

COURSE FORMAT
12 hours face-to face, normally delivered over two days, however a four day format is also possible.
